What we collect

When you call, we take what you tell us: your name, the phone number you are calling from, the address the technician needs, and what the door is doing. Calls may be recorded so the job is booked accurately.

This site also keeps simple counts of its own — which pages get visited, which search or ad sent the visit, and when someone taps the phone number. Your browser stores a random ID so one visit is not counted twice. It is not linked to your name or your number.

If you arrived from a link carrying a city, that city is stored in your browser for 90 days so the pages show your area rather than guessing. Clearing it is a single click on the “not your area?” link.

How it is used

To book your job and to pass the technician what they need to turn up at the right place with the right parts. We do not sell your information and we do not add you to marketing lists.

Who else sees it

The technician assigned to your job, because they cannot do it otherwise. Nobody else, other than the services that carry our calls and run this website.

How long we keep it

As long as needed to complete your job and to settle anything that arises from it, and no longer than the law requires us to.

Asking us to delete it

Call (866) 394-4210 and ask. We will tell you what we hold and remove what we are not required to keep. Residents of states with their own privacy laws have those rights as well, and we honour them on request.
