What we are

One Call Garage Door is a referral and scheduling service. We find a garage door technician for your job and arrange the visit. We are not the contractor, we do not perform the work, and we are not a party to the agreement you make with the technician.

The technician

The technician is an independent business. They are responsible for their own work, for holding whatever licence and insurance their state and city require of them, and for the price they quote you. We do not endorse or guarantee anyone's credentials, and a description such as “technician” on this site is not a statement that any particular licence is held.

Prices

We publish no prices and we do not quote over the phone, because the price depends on what failed and on your door. The estimate is free. Your technician gives you the price before any work begins and you approve it first. Most estimates are given verbally at your door.

Safety

Garage door springs and cables hold enormous tension and injure people every year. Nothing on this site is an instruction to repair your own door, and the warnings on our pages are there to be taken seriously. In an emergency call 911, not us.

Calls and texts

When you call us, you are agreeing that we may call or text you back about your job at the number you used, and that calls may be recorded. Message and data rates may apply. Tell us to stop and we stop.

Limits

Because we arrange the service rather than perform it, any claim arising from the work itself lies with the technician who did it. Our own liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us, which for a referral is usually nothing.
